TENNENT’S LAGER — Wellpark Brewery has been brewing Tennent’s Lager since 1885, first brewed by Hugh Tennent. It has been and still is Scotland’s best-selling lager. This slow-crafted lager is rooted in community and tradition with a crisp taste and a refreshingly clean finish. It is distinctive and well balanced with sweet, malty flavors, and a tangy hoppiness with 4 percent ABV. Tennent’s Lager comes in a six-pack bottle, andthe bottle prominently displays the company’s trademark, a large red “T.”

TENNENT’S WHISKY OAK AGED – Tennent’s Beer Aged with Whisky Oak comes from blending 450 years of knowledge with Scotland’s national drink, whisky. Although it bears the Tennent’s name, which precedes a long history of brewing, Whisky Oak was first brewed just last year. It is brewed using a complex recipe of four hop varieties, three types of locally sourced Scottish malt, and the pure waters of Loch Katrine. The brewing process incorporates the maturation and aging of the beer in Speyside Single Malt Whisky infused oak chips. The end result is an approachable yet complex beer, which offers a memorable drinking experience. Tennent’s Whisky Oak Aged is 6 percent ABV and available in a four-pack bottle.

Heid doon arse up! Get to your local pub or store, grab a Tennent’s, and whit’s fur ye’ll no go past ye. Tennent’s beer can be found at Kroger’s in Wheeling, Generations and Smoker Friendly in the Highlands.

Note: The British Open is being played in Scotland this weekend. Impress your friends by appropriately drinking a Tennent’s while watching some golf.
