West Liberty University Plans Performing Arts Summer Camp

Sing! Dance! Perform! Design!

West Liberty University’s music and theater departments are offering a creative summer camp for children ages 8-14. The Performing Arts Summer Camp will take place in Kelly Theatre and on the WLU campus the week of June 11.

“This is the first time for the performing arts summer camp here on the hilltop, and we are looking forward to offering this quality summer camp option to the community,” said Michael Aulick, WLU’s director of theater who is in charge of the camp.

Sessions are designed for morning or afternoon with a one-hour break for lunch. Campers must select from Performance Camp, Dance Camp, Vocal Music Camp or Theater Design Camp. All sessions run from June 11-15, and a final showcase performance will conclude the camp at 4:30 p.m., Friday, June 15.
