The Ohio Valley Street Survivors in partnership with the Oglebay Good Zoo will host the 26th annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show this weekend at the Levenson Shelter near the Good Zoo. The show will feature vehicles from across the region from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and Saturday, Aug. 25, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. Throughout the weekend, guests can admire beautiful, vintage vehicles while listening to the sounds of classic oldie hits. On Saturday and Sunday, guests will have a chance to win a variety of door prizes. Plus, guests will experience free meet and greets with Good Zoo animals on Sunday. Guests are encouraged to stop by the Good Zoo to explore the zoo’s new habitats including the Red Panda Forest and the Spirit of the Mountain Snow Leopard habitat. Proceeds of the show will support the care and conservation of Good Zoo animals.


Harmony House presents the fundraiser Beer, Bourbon & Barbecue, 6-9 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Italian American Club, 45 Sycamore Ave., Wheeling. Two levels of local craft beer and bourbon sampling tickets are available: advance general admission ($40) and VIP ($60). Designated driver tickets ($20) are available by special request.
