Scare and Tell Spooktacular

With COVID-19 altering many Halloween festivities, Grow Warwood Pride is hosting a virtual costume parade for folks who wish to celebrate safely from home. Dress up the kids, tune in, and let them show off their costumes and share why they picked their particular getup. The virtual event will take place via Zoom on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Learn more here.

Drive-In Movie and Trunk or Treat

The Augusta Levy Learning Center has partnered with Wheeling Park to provide a fun and safe family night out! Bring the family in costume and enjoy trunk or treat on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. in the parking lot by the White Palace. Afterward, stick around for a free screening of Hocus Pocus at 7:30 p.m. Cars will be parked in every other parking spot and social distancing rules apply. Masks must be worn when outside your vehicle. There will be prizes for best overall costume, most creative costume, scariest costume and funniest costume. Learn more here.

Belmont County Animal Shelter Trick or Treat

The Belmont County Animal Shelter in conjunction with Belmont County Cat Stray Shun is hosting a kid-friendly Trick or Treat on Friday, Oct. 19 from 5 – 6 p.m. and 6 – 7 p.m. at the Belmont County Animal Shelter. There will be plenty of vendors and a costume contest each hour. Trophies will be given for best pet costume, best adult costume, best kids costume ages 0-6, and best kids costume ages 7+.
