Breakfast With Books Livestream: Unlock Your History Workshop

Hosted by the Senator John Heinz History Center, this half-day virtual program will help attendees explore their German roots and personal immigration history. Pam Israel and her brother Stephan Israel of “Unlock Your History!” assist with the translation of German language documents. Instruction in hands-on collections care is provided by the Heinz History Center’s Robert Stakeley. The program also features archival artifact and collection analysis and a “Virtual Show and Tell” from the audience. Space is limited. Dinner and a Movie

At Oglebay Institute’s Towngate Theatre, not only can you watch live theater productions, spoken word performances, improv and concerts, you can see movies, too! Towngate will host a screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Moviegoers also have the option to have dinner in Towngate’s social room prior to the screening. Zoomprov with the Left of Centre Players

Join the Left of Centre Players for a night of virtual improvisational comedy at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 live on Towngate Theatre’s Facebook page. These brave performers hit the Towngate Theatre stage without a script, props or safety net. Armed only with adrenaline and their imaginations, they make-up stories on the spot that entertain and amuse.

The Mother Jones Center for Resilient Community (MoJo) is hosting an art auction to support the space and resources of the MoJo. Art viewing will be available online at the auction website and in-person at the MoJo Nov. 20-22. Yoga Class
