Center Wheeling Beyond Marketing January 19, 2021 Center Wheeling is the vibrant neighborhood sandwiched between Downtown and South Wheeling. In the 19th and 20th centuries, Center Wheeling grew with a deep immigrant influence, especially German and Eastern European, that is still reflected in the neighborhood. Center Wheeling includes two national historic districts: Centre Market Square and Chapline Street Row.
