Dimmeydale is a small neighborhood located on the western side of National Road between Edgewood and Greenwood Cemetery. It is largely residential, mostly made up of houses and one large apartment building. The area is named after the Dimmey family, who owned a large dairy farm in the area that has now become a part of the neighborhood. In November 2020, the neighborhood of Dimmeydale started to be surveyed for the potential to qualify for recognition as a historic district.
