David Mayfield of The David Mayfield Parade, a dynamic combination of music and comedy, will perform a live solo show at Clientele Art Studio this weekend. The show is set for Friday, March 10 at 8 p.m.
Will Wallace, owner of Clientele Art Studio, said that hosting more live music events has been a priority since he opened the studio, bar, and artist market. His mission will hold true with Clientele’s second music event of the year featuring David Mayfield.
“Clientele’s main mission has been to highlight our amazing group of local artists, but we’re very excited for this opportunity to bring outside talent into our city. We feel like Wheeling can be an arts hub, not only for the Ohio Valley, but across the state,” said Wallace.
The David Mayfield Parade was formed in Kent, Ohio, and has since gained national recognition. Vocalist and lyricist David Mayfield was nominated for a Grammy in 2009.
“The opportunity to promote Appalachian artists has presented itself in many different ways,” Wallace continued. “It’s awesome to bring an artist with such a wide reach in for a show close to home.”
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday at Clientele Art Studio, located at 43 15th Street, Wheeling, WV. Tickets for the show are $10 online or $15 at the door. They can be purchased online at clientelestudio.square.site.
Clientele Art Studio is open Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays noon to 6 p.m.
