The Pirates had a GREAT season, but it’s hard not to feel sad after their sudden ending. Luckily we can drown our blues away with another beautiful fall weekend with lots to do in Wheeling, W.Va.
Friday – Sunday
The City of Wheeling Arts & Cultural Commission has asked amateur and professional artists to artistically paint parking meters in the Centre Market area. This project is part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to bring the arts and artists to the forefront in Wheeling as a W.Va., Certified Arts Community. The Centre Market Parking Meter Mural Project is a creative place making projects designed to enhance other revitalization projects that have been successful in this area. This project also has the potential to be a jumping off point for other public art projects in the city with the goal of beautification and creation of art spaces in other neighborhoods.
Head to Centre Market to see them paint this weekend!!
