Another beautiful spring weekend awaits all Weelunkers. Here is this week’s playbook for “Doing Something.”
Friday 3-6 p.m.
Paint and Sip, Sculpt and Gulp….how about drinking and spring cleaning? This year’s Clean Crawl will be in Centre Market as teams will complete various tasks including painting curbs, planting flowers, picking up litter, and laying mulch, to name a few. After all the hard work, you can mix and mingle with fellow Clean Crawlers at the surrounding businesses.
Friday 7-10 p.m.
After getting things in Centre Market cleaned up, make it an evening with Parkersburg musician Todd Burge at the Artworks.

Touch-A-Truck is hosted by and benefits Holy Family Child Care & Development Center located in Wheeling.
Saturday 7:30 p.m.
“Rock the Runway in Wheeling,” formerly “Fashion Rocks in Wheeling” hosted by Bob Bailey, and “As You Like It, LLC” is rocking a new name and a new benefactor this year as the YWCA Wheeling will receive the proceeds from the event. The runway show will still be held at the Wheeling Park and is definitely the area’s premiere themed fashion show and party.
This year’s show will be a Jungle theme. Boasting over 500 attendees, it is a fun evening that recognizes the fashion in the Valley and the mutually beneficial relationship between the local retail stores and the surrounding community. The evening includes heavy hors d’ oeuvres, an open bar, music, and a runway show. Each year, there are 50 models, both female and male, from all walks of life and of varying ages, who rock the runway.
