The Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce is working together with the Regional Economic Development Partnership (REDP), the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics, and McKinley Carter Wealth Services to host the 2023 Economic Outlook Conference on October 26, 2023, at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack.
The agenda for the event, which kicks off with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m., includes two presenters: David H. McKinley, CFP President and Chief Investment Officer of McKinley Carter Wealth Services, and John Deskins, Ph.D., Assistant Dean of the West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics. Following the keynote presentations, three roundtable discussions will be held on the topics of the WVU Medicine Regional Cancer Center, Wheeling Ohio County Airport Aviation investments, and a roundtable on local housing issues pertaining to economic growth. The half-day event will wrap up at noon.
