The luck of the Irish will be with one winner as the Junior League of Wheeling presents Affair with Emerald Flair on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Wheeling Park White Palace.
This year the grand prize raffle winner will receive a 6-night trip for two with roundtrip airfare to Atlantis Hotel & Casino on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas sponsored by Pentino Dental, West Liberty University, Belmont Aggregates and Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance.
Affair with Emerald Flair is the Junior League of Wheeling’s annual fundraising event which draws hundreds of guests each year for a festive evening of food and entertainment by Hit Play, one of the area’s most popular bands.
Guests will enjoy a wide array of cuisine from some of the Ohio Valley’s most well-known restaurants including 19th Hole, Centre Cup Coffee, Generations Restaurant & Pub, Heavenly Manna, Kroger Snowfox Sushi, Mmm Popcorn, Quaker Steak & Lube, Silver Chopsticks, The Soup Shack, Tito’s Sloppy Doggs, Wheeling Brewing Company, WHISK Bakery and Ye Olde Alpha.
Additionally, Affair with Emerald Flair will include a Chinese basket raffle giving patrons the chance to win amazing prizes such as Pittsburgh Penguins tickets, a weekend golf package at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, an overnight romance package at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh, a trip to Kalahari Waterpark, Jamboree In The Hills passes, spa experiences and more!
This event is open to the general public and tickets can be purchased for $30 in advance at www.affairwithemeraldflair.com. Tickets are $35 at the door. Ticket includes a wide selection of hor d’oeuvres, beer and wine.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Phase 2 updates to the Janie S. Altmeyer Heritage Port Playground, a continuation of the major playground overhaul the Junior League of Wheeling completed last spring with the help of hundreds of community volunteers. Proceeds will also benefit various other community-focused projects including Kids in the Kitchen which teaches children the importance of healthy eating and Done-in-a-Day projects in which the Junior League partners with other local non-profit organizations to complete an impactful project in one day.
