Help Shape the Magic: Your City of Lights Sweepstakes!

A Transformed Downtown, Ready to Shine

As Wheeling prepares to celebrate the 40th Fantasy in Lights Parade next year, there’s even more to look forward to—thanks to the exciting transformation of the city’s downtown! The ongoing Wheeling Streetscape Project, led by the West Virginia Department of Transportation, is bringing new life to Main and Market streets with wider sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb cuts, decorative brickwork, plants, trees, and traffic signals. These enhancements will provide a stunning backdrop for the parade, making the 2025 parade event even more magical.
