Dear Children of Wheeling,
Greetings from the North Pole! It is very snowy up here this far north and the elves have been enjoying making snow angels and starting snowball fights. I heard that you all had your own snow storm recently in Wheeling? The Suspension Bridge must’ve looked so pretty covered in snow–I love flying overhead when I visit Wheeling.
My workshop has been very very busy recently because there are so many children all over the world to make gifts for–that’s why I always keep a list! Thank you to everyone who wrote me letters–reading children’s letters is one of my favorite activities. The reindeer are getting very anxious to get moving–this is one of their favorite nights because they get to travel all over the world!
This year has been very hard. It might mean that Christmas might look a little different this year. Some of you may not be able to see your extended family for the holidays or there might be fewer presents under the tree. But, what is important to remember is that the Christmas spirit comes from within and there are so many creative and safe ways to celebrate the holidays. I wish you all a very merry Christmas!
Sincerely,
Santa Claus
