Meet Joelle Moray: Empowering Professionals to Find Calm Amidst the Chaos

Life and work can both be stressful, but one Wheeling professional has the skills to help ease that burden. Joelle Moray, a Yorkville, Ohio native and current Wheeling resident, has built a business focused on promoting calm, strength, and lasting well-being.

Practice Supported by Experience

Joelle’s business is backed by her two master’s degrees: one in Integrated Marketing Communications and a dual master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned both master’s degrees from West Virginia University and her undergraduate degree from West Liberty University.

Empowering the Community to Focus on Calm and What Truly Matters

For the last few years, Moray’s focus has been empowering our community to focus on both finding the calm and prioritizing what truly matters.

I offer a range of workshops, keynotes, and programs designed to help individuals and teams navigate stress, prevent burnout, and redefine success in a way that prioritizes well-being without sacrificing ambition.

One of Moray’s current initiatives is called “Chill Achievers.” This is a community for high-achievers who love ambition and are sick of the grind. High-achieving professionals can access self-guided content and live coaching. The goal is to help shift the relationship with stress and productivity.
“I also help people identify whether perfectionism, procrastination, or people-pleasing is driving their stress, offering personalized strategies to break free from urgency culture,” Moray states.

Helping Corporate Professionals Manage Stress

Moray has also tapped into helping relieve the stress of professionals working in the corporate sector. Through guiding leadership teams, she’s encouraged the management of workloads and focused on avoiding burnout and sustaining productivity.
“I focus on practical tools like my Press Pause method, which teaches individuals how to build in strategic breaks, avoid the myth of multitasking, and set boundaries that foster deep work,” Moray adds.

Supporting Women and Mental Wellness in the Workforce

Moray recognizes that women often carry additional stress. Along with her partner, Ronna-Renne Jackson, Moray is hosting the Level Up & Launch retreat, presented by WesBanco. In this retreat, participants will be immersed with others interested in growing their careers and maintaining a sense of mental wellness.

Guiding Individuals and Organizations Toward Sustainable Success

“Through my speaking engagements, online programs, and interactive workshops, my goal has been to guide individuals and organizations toward a healthier, more sustainable approach to success—one that embraces slowing down, building resilience, and prioritizing what truly matters,” states Moray.

Moray currently works with a variety of organizations and brands ranging from small nonprofit organizations to large-scale multinational corporations. Working in a variety of sectors like education, healthcare, banking, finance, and professional sports helps to keep Moray well-rounded in meeting the needs of busy professionals in a variety of industries.

The Importance of Self-Love and Redefining Success

Moray’s work strongly focuses on the principles of self-love and the understanding that hyperproductivity does not equate to value as a person.
“My favorite part of my work is witnessing the moment when someone realizes they don’t have to keep pushing themselves to exhaustion in order to be successful. There’s something powerful about seeing high-achievers give themselves permission to slow down, set boundaries, and redefine success on their own terms.”
