Frederick’s Day Spa ‘CBD Wellness Center’ Plans Open House

The CBD Wellness Center at Frederick’s Day Spa is expanding ways to bring relief to the people in the Ohio Valley.

CBD oil (cannabidiol) has been a trending topic in the headlines, and now it is making its way to the Ohio Valley in a bigger way. Frederick’s Day Spa Salon is excited to introduce The CBD Wellness Center, a branch of Frederick’s, located inside the salon. Frederick’s is located at 109 Edgington Lane in the heart of Woodsdale, just a block from Ye Olde Alpha restaurant.

Frederick’s has been bringing relief to the people of the Ohio Valley for the past year. They have incorporated CBD oil (cannabidiol oil) in their massages, pedicures and facial services as a natural way to bring healthy wellbeing to their clients. Because of the overwhelmingly positive results, Frederick’s began offering CBD sublingual tinctures, gummies, tea, topical creams and salves, as well as a vaping option. This allows clients to continue their use of CBD Oil on a convenient, daily basis to bring homeostasis to the body. An overwhelming majority of clients have reported significant relief from pain and anxiety.

Now, Frederick’s is expanding The CBD Wellness Center to include more product options to suit everyone’s lifestyle, including your furry family members. All the CBD products Frederick’s carries are grown in the U.S., are organic, vegan, GMO-free, and third-party tested for accuracy and purity.

WHY CHOOSE CBD?

CBD oil is responsible for a wide range of positive health benefits through its interaction with the body’s own endocannabinoid system. Unlike synthetic pharmaceutical drugs, cannabis oil and related cannabinoids have no known toxicity level, and their health benefits come without negative side effects.

While most people relate CBD to medical marijuana, it is not the same. Hemp/cannabis plants that are bred for medicinal purposes are bred to be low in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and high in CBD, which means you will not experience any psychoactive or high effect. All CBD products must be .30 percent or less THC to be legally manufactured for sale in West Virginia.

To be clear, cannabidiol (CBD oil) has not, as of yet, been approved by the FDA as a drug. As such, no one can outwardly claim that it is capable of diagnosing, treating, or curing any form of clinical disease or medical ailment.

That being said, the scientific studies that have been carried out on CBD as a potential therapeutic treatment option have been boundless. Among (many) other things, it has been shown in research publications to be able to:

  • Relieve chronic pain
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
  • Help with chronic obesity and weight loss
  • Reduce the occurrence of insomnia and other sleep disorders
  • Relieve nerve pain and other forms of neuropathy-related pain
  • Improve memory and cognition

Frederick’s is currently in the process of expanding their website www.fredericks-salon.com to list both photos and descriptions of each of their CBD products and CBD services they offer at The CBD Wellness Center along with the online ability to analyze and recommend the CBD product that is right for you. Several staff members have recently returned from the CBD EXPO in Indianapolis for further training, and staff member Lydia Dechiazza is in the process of receiving her National CBD Certification.

Frederick’s invites you to join them at their Open House Celebration of The CBD Wellness Center at Frederick’s Day Spa from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, for refreshments, consultations and CBD Education 101.

Frederick’s Day Spa has been serving the Ohio Valley for the past 36 years. They are dedicated to offering a wide variety of services and products that will improve your wellness: mind, body, and soul.
