A special message from the Wheeling Mayor-Elect:
In recent weeks I’ve found my schedule being conducted at a faster pace than during the campaign itself. During this period, I have worked with all incoming City Council members aggressively to learn about on-going City projects and processes. And I have met with each incoming Council member individually to discuss committee appointments, Ward-specific concerns, and overall priorities. Together, we have compared notes on concerns and opportunities we heard from Wheeling citizens on the campaign trail.
Our work now begins in full. We are prepared to lead this City with wit, wisdom, and open-minds.
Thank you for entrusting in me with the leadership of our fine City. It is an honor that I do not take lightly, and I am humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me.
