W.Va. Wellness to Present Benefits of CBD

The West Virginia Wellness Project’s owner and practitioner Leesa Scott, LMT, CST, will present a lecture about the health benefits of cannabis oil at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Ohio County Public Library.

“Many people do not realize that CBD oil, which is a legal product, is made from the oil of hemp, and is not derived from marijuana. It does, however, contain the substances which facilitate health, and has been shown to be beneficial in many health challenges, such as autoimmune diseases and even seizures.”
