Gabe Hays had his eye on 1109 Main Street long before he purchased it from the city in 2019. The building first caught his attention in the early 2000s when he was overseeing a landscaping project at Heritage Port. “I thought, ‘How cool!’ “I wish somebody would do something. Take a look behind the scenes at how the 1900s building has been restored to its former glory and now a welcoming third-space in our community.
