With the 25th Annual Wheeling Celtic Celebration just days away, you might find yourself looking forward to drinking a green beer or decorating your home with four-leaf clovers. However, Celtic history and traditions are much deeper than that, as you’ll see in this comic strip created by Weelunk’s own Natalie Kovacs.

Be sure to tune in to the Wheeling Celtic Celebration on Saturday, March 6 beginning at noon. At the top of every hour, Wheeling Heritage will stream a variety of programs celebrating Celtic heritage and traditions from their Facebook page.     Natalie Kovacs is an illustrator under the moniker Shapelessflame. She has a bachelor’s degree in English literature and a minor in graphic art from Carlow University of Pittsburgh. In her spare time, you’ll find her frolicking through the woods, reading and collecting countless books, crowd surfing at concerts, or testing out new vegetarian recipes. She lives in Bethesda, OH with her husband, son, and their four mischievous cats.
