What a GREAT Wheeling event last weekend with the inaugural Dragon Boat Race. Congratulations to Jamie Remp and King’s Daughters; we can’t wait until next year! But now that those damn dragons have left town, (don’t worry – on their own accord, not ’cause of the algae), it’s time to look forward to the kickoff of the fall season and a classic Wheeling tradition: Labor Day Weekend. Do Something.
Vagabond Party! Moving Celebration

Wheeling, if the Vagabond Chef doesn’t succeed, Wheeling won’t succeed. SUPPORT the Vagabond Chef as they move to some new digs.

“Trust us; we are as excited about our impending move as you are! We want to celebrate and invite you to come celebrate with us.
In addition a good excuse for a great time, we will be kicking off a Kickstarter Campaign to help us raise part of the money we need to move the Kitchen, and also launching the Vagabond Chef on a tour around the state.”

With handmade lathes and traditional hand tools, Brad Fritz will lead participants through various wood-shaping processes from splitting, turning, and shaving rough-cut lumber to assembling finished tools and toys of Lydia’s era.
