Digital Storytelling Premier Event

California University of Pennsylvania students of Professor Christina Burgy Fisanick will be debuting their digital stories focusing on local history on December 5 at Noon at the Ohio County Public Library. They are taking a closer look at the Benwood Mine Disaster, West Liberty University’s Nelle Krise Rare Books Room, the creation of the state of West Virginia at Independence Hall, the Sweeney family and glass, and the agricultural legacy of Earl Oglebay. The event is in partnership with the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.
