Gabe Hays had his eye on 1109 Main Street long before he purchased it from the city in 2019. The building first caught his attention in the early 2000s when he was overseeing a landscaping project at Heritage Port. “I thought, ‘How cool!’ “I wish somebody would do something. And, 15 years later, I became that somebody,” said Hays. The year-long renovation project included a build-out to accommodate Mugshots Coffee Shop.
