Wheeling native and jazz musician Reggie Watkins attended Wheeling Park High School and West Virginia University before traveling the world to play with some of the biggest names in music including Maynard Ferguson and Jason Mraz. He has released three albums as a leader and now in addition to leading the Reggie Watkins Trio, he is also a member of the Grammy-nominated Orrin Evans' Captain Black Big Band, The Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, Postmodern Jukebox and The Steeltown Horns.
