Wheeling Island Stadium has been the site for much more than high school football since Ohio County Schools installed the artificial surface 10 years ago. The school system replaced the surface earlier this month.

After two years of the current board uncharacteristically making headlines, the the Ohio County BOE race has never received this much attention. Each of the six candidates in the race for two seats on the Ohio County Board of Education was asked to reply to five questions concerning the future of Ohio County Schools so that their answers could be published free of charge. All six candidates participated in Steve Novotney’s series.
