The Linsly School will host an Experience Linsly Day for families interested in learning more about the school on Sunday, November 5th starting at 1:00 PM in Banes Hall. The event is hosted by the Linsly Admissions Office and provides prospective parents and students an opportunity to learn about Linsly, meet teachers, administrators and current students and parents, tour the campus and enjoy interactive classroom experiences.
The event begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. with a panel discussion held in the library, followed by classroom experiences. After the campus tour, families are invited to join Linsly faculty and administrators for a reception with light refreshments in the cafeteria. Information about financial aid and scholarship opportunities will also be available.
According to R.J. Zitzelsberger III’ 02, Linsly’s Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, making a Linsly education accessible to those families in the Ohio Valley who value the college preparatory and character education mission of Linsly is a priority.
“One of the main concerns that parents have about sending their child to a private school like Linsly is affordability,” said Zitzelsberger. “What many families don’t realize is that a majority of our students are receiving some form of financial assistance. Families who attend our Experience Linsly Day will not only understand the value of a Linsly education, but will also learn about the financial aid application process. We strive to work with each family to meet their needs and make a Linsly education accessible.”
Zitzelsberger explained that the value of a Linsly education lies in our outcomes with 100 percent of our graduates attending four-year colleges and universities as well as our student success in college and beyond.
