The big event this weekend is Grecian Fest on Chapline Street in Centre Wheeling. You know you can’t get enough Mediterranean flavor even after last weekend’s Italian Festival. It runs all weekend, so be sure to get down there.
On Thursday, joint the Wheeling Young Preservationists for a Happy Hour at River City. It kicks off at 5 p.m.
Afterward, check out the Science Cafe Series at the Blue Church and join the discussion about former-planet Pluto. 7 p.m. start time.
Saturday is the Ohio River Ferryboat Festival in Sistersville. It runs all day, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday will have some really interesting music acts in town. First off is New Age Adenas playing the Vagabond Sunday Brunch.
In the evening, don’t miss Hoodstock. It will feature the final live performance by Wild Cherry, as Steve explained here.
