For the fourth consecutive year, Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal participated as title sponsor for the annual Debbie Green Memorial 5K Walk/Run for Leukemia. The event commemorates Debbie Green, who lost her battle with leukemia in 1972. The title sponsorship donation plus contributions to register the company’s 94 team members totaled nearly $10,000 for the Debbie Green Memorial Fund.
Kalkreuth Roofing stands to win even more money for the Debbie Green event by getting the most votes in the National Roofing Contractors Association Community Involvement People’s Choice Award,
Contractor members submit charitable projects, activities or donations from the past year to try to win money for their charities The winning company’s charity will receive $1,500.
Voting takes place through Feb. 12. The winner will be notified Feb. 13.
