Dalchord – Appalachian Folk Rockers Coming to Waterfront Hall

Calcified Presents is proud to bring Charleston, WV based electric folk wonky-tonk band Dalchord to Waterfront Hall, right here in Wheeling on June 27, 2026. Local bluegrass fiddler James Mclaughlin will be opening the show, joined by Pittsburgh’s Michael Johnson on mandolin. Patrons are welcome to the venue side of Waterfront Hall at 8:30 and music will begin at 9pm.

Hailing from Charleston, West Virginia, Dalchord is a four-piece Folk/Americana band forging a path through the rich, often overlooked terrain of modern Appalachian storytelling. The lineup, comprised of Ryan Errickson, Josh Runyon, Blake Burkholder, and Eric Robbins, channels a deep reverence for roots music, painting vivid scenes of heartaches, small-town grit, and the kind of blue-collar yearning that feels timeless.

Their music lands somewhere between the dusty neon of a late-night dive bar and the fading glow of an old radio dial, equal parts raucous guitars, soulful harmonies, and honest lyricism. Born & Bred Music call it a “six-string joyride through chrome, dust, and desperate late-night radio.” On tracks like “Be Alright,” “Wheel of Fortune,” and “Pony Car Passport,” Dalchord crafts a sonic tapestry that feels grounded, lived-in, and deeply human.
