Evening of Illustration with Logan Schmitt

Esoterica is proud to present an evening of illustration featuring Logan Schmitt on Friday, May 8, from 7pm – 10pm at Esoterica, 2153 Main St, Wheeling.

Esoterica is a lounge, co-working, and art space, opened in February 2026 by Spencer Porter, founder and chair of non-profit Why Don’t You Stay Awhile, and publisher of Milk Teeth, Wheeling Neighbors, and St. Clairsville Living magazines.

Posters, screenprints, and original drawings will be on view, as well as some rarely-shown pieces pulled from the archives for the evening.

Logan Schmitt has lived in Wheeling for most of his life, apart from 6 years spent in Columbus, Ohio where he attended the Columbus College of Art & Design (2016) and started working as an illustrator full-time. In 2018 Logan and his wife Rachael returned to Wheeling and quickly involved themselves in the local art and music scene. Logan currently serves as vice chair of the Wheeling Arts & Cultural Commission, manages the art vendors, merch, and yearly branding for the Wheeling Arts Festival, and organizes numerous shows, events, and Calcified Music Festival as Calcified Presents.
