Congressman David B. McKinley will be the commencement speaker. President Stephen Greiner will preside at the ceremony and will present him with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.

Megan C. Lyle, from Belmont, Ohio, will be the graduating student speaker, an honor she received based upon her grade point average. She is graduating from the School of Professional Studies with a degree in organizational leadership and administration.

Lyle currently works at Wheeling Hospital as a Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist. She earned her degree in order to advance her career and plans to continue her education by earning a master’s degree next.

“I am already enrolled in the online MBA with WLU that starts in July. West Liberty has provided me with a wonderful experience and helped me plan my educational and professional path and I’m very happy,” she said. Lyle has a 5-year old son, Nathaniel.

The graduating students with the highest grade point average from each college are honored with the duty of carrying the college banner. For the spring ceremony, the following students will serve as banner carriers.
