Healthy Meals Made Easy
Busy schedule? The Market’s new online ordering platform makes it simple to plan ahead. Customers can browse a full menu of nutritious breakfasts, locally sourced lunches, and fresh smoothies, then schedule a pickup time that works for them. It’s a convenient way to grab something quick without sacrificing quality.

A Fresh Menu and Fan-Favorite Specials
Spring has officially arrived in the kitchen. A new seasonal menu is rolling out, packed with fresh ingredients and updated recipes that lean into lighter, brighter flavors.
And then there’s the Burger of the Month. Each month, Kitchen Manager James Walters creates a one-of-a-kind burger that keeps things interesting and gives regulars something new to look forward to. You only have another week to get your hands on “The Plot Twist” which was absolutely delish!
Snackable Stories and Summer Reading Fun
Families will have plenty to look forward to with the launch of Snackable Stories and a new monthly Kids Reading and Lunch series, created in partnership with the Ohio County Public Library.
These events bring together hands-on cooking and story time in a way that’s both fun and engaging. Kids will work alongside the Public Market kitchen team to help prepare their own meal, then sit down to enjoy it while listening to a story thoughtfully paired with the menu. Each month will feature a different book and food theme.

The series kicks off on Saturday, May 2 with a special guest reader, Michael Brambila, also known as “Mr. B.” Families may recognize him from his work at the library and his passion for connecting kids with books.
For the first event, kids will build their own tacos before enjoying a live reading of Dragons Love Tacos.

There’s even more to look forward to this season. The annual plant sale hosted by Grow Ohio Valley returns on May 9 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering plenty of options to kickstart your summer garden.
And for those looking to stay connected to local food all season long, CSA sign-ups are now open. Community Supported Agriculture shares provide weekly access to fresh, locally grown produce, with pickups running from late June through early October.
A Place That Keeps Growing
“I love seeing all the energy around the Public Market right now. The new hours make it so much easier to stop in, the monthly burger specials are always something to look forward to, and the online ordering feature is seriously a game changer. And the summer series for kids is just so fun and thoughtful. It’s exciting to see a space like this continue to grow and give people even more reasons to stop in!”— Riley Carpenter
