This holiday season, Waterfront Hall is lighting up downtown Wheeling with a packed calendar of festive events! From concerts and glow parties to brunches, community gatherings, and even an early New Year’s Eve ball drop. The historic venue, located inside the reimagined Berry Building at 1230 Water Street, has quickly become a go-to hub for live music, entertainment, and this season? Lots of holiday fun.
Owner, Dan Milleson, says the excitement downtown is unmistakable:
“We’re all excited to be part of an increasingly vibrant downtown community—especially during the holiday season, when there are so many festive events happening that you have to choose between two or three things you want to do every night.”
Waterfront Hall’s role in that momentum is the natural next chapter for the 1873 building, originally constructed as the headquarters for a cordage manufacturing family whose rope supplied riverboats navigating the Ohio River. Over the years, the building evolved into a mill supply store and later a kitchen and bath distributor. Today, it has been transformed into a three-story, 15,500-square-foot hub for entertainment, food, drink, and celebration, with incredible views of the Ohio River.
