Stifel Center Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees Returns to Wheeling’s Stifel Center

Oglebay Insitute’s Festival of Trees will transform the Stifel Center into a Christmas wonderland of trees, wreaths and garlands from Nov. 8-22, decorated by creative and skilled volunteers.

All items are for sale, and proceeds benefit Oglebay Institute’s arts, cultural and nature programs. Beginning Nov. 14, visitors can also shop the Holiday Art Show and Sale, a holiday shopping event featuring hundreds of handcrafted items from dozens of artisans who set up shop in the Stifel Center for the holiday season.

Several special events take place throughout the festival.

The festival kicks off with a free opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. From Nov. 9-22, the Festival of Trees is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free, and donations are accepted.

Festival of Trees is sponsored by Belmont Savings Bank with additional support from Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration.

Ready for this year’s Festival of Trees at the Stifel Fine Arts Center are Oglebay Institute President Danielle McCracken, left, OI director of development Micah Underwood, center, and Todd Cover, president and CEO of Belmont Savings Bank.
