Wells Fargo Advisors Funds Oglebay Foundation Efforts Provided September 13, 2019 Wells Fargo Advisors recently presented a $20,000 check to the Oglebay Foundation, which will provide scholarship funds for the foundation’s Access to the Parks program. Access to the Parks ensures all children in Ohio County and an accompanying adult have year-round recreation opportunities and free admission to all activities at Oglebay and Wheeling Park, including related equipment, regardless of their financial circumstances. Thanks to Wells Fargo Advisors’ financial support, lower-income families can give their children the ability to enjoy golf, pedal boats, fishing, swimming, water slide, tennis, ice skating, snowboarding, skiing, as well as visits to the Good Zoo and Oglebay Institute’s Glass Museum, Mansion Museum and the Schrader Environmental Education Center. The important partnership between Wells Fargo Advisors and the Oglebay Foundation plays a critical role in the foundation’s mission of ensuring that all children in the Ohio Valley have the ability to explore, play and learn, regardless of their family’s resources. Eriks Janelsins, Oglebay Foundation president and CEO, attributes the parks’ continued success to support from community partners like Wells Fargo Advisors. “Wells Fargo Advisors’ generosity allows the parks to grow and expand the educational and recreational outreach provided to area residents and guests throughout the year,” Janelsins said. “Wells Fargo Advisors has been a consistently strong partner. Their financial leadership helps us to reach underserved members of our community.” Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window) Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
