Jacob Thomas Jr. Wheeling Farmers’ Market Saturday 8 a.m. – Noon Local and fresh produce, crafts, and music are on display every Saturday morning at St. Michael’s parking lot. The Wheeling Feeling Chili Cook-Off Saturday Noon – 6 p.m. Head to the Heritage Port to taste and sample chili and salsas while raising money for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. Circus Saints & Sinners Party in the Park Saturday 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. Join the Circus Saints & Sinners Club for the annual Party in the Park to benefit the Augusta Levy Learning Center and rock out to the fabulous sounds of Hit Play! Hit Play American Legion Post 1 Steak Fry Saturday 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. We know Steve Novotney must be working on a story about the quintessential Wheeling fundraiser — The Steak Fry. Head to the Italian American Club and bring your own “fixins” as you listen to the sweet tunes of Higher Ground. Higher Ground Musician Appreciation Jam Night Sunday 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. Message from the hosts: “We will provide free draft beer to all of the musicians as a way of thanking you for everything you do for DOMS. This is while the beer lasts! There will be snacks and food! If anyone can bring covered dishes, it would be appreciated.” MEDITATION, MINDFULNESS, AND ENERGY MEDICINE WORKSHOP Sunday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. After a busy weekend it will be time for some serious relaxation. Head to Oglebay Institute’s Stifel Center and join Dr. Rebecca Fahey, MD, PhD (c), MBA for an introduction to different modalities and techniques of meditation to find a style that most resonates with you.
